Just a thought. I think among the major things that sets humanity apart from all other animals of this world is that our species learned to utilize fire. Other animals basically are afraid of fire. And we also are. BUT! We also learned to tame our fear of fire, and thus we harnessed fire to make things, cook food, protect ourselves, yes for good or for bad, build civilizations, past, present, future . Of course fire is but the more visible expression of heat, which produces energy, which in turn transforms matter. Just a thought.
